In response to Christ’s call and to the contemporary situation of sicknesses, the aging process, loneliness, death, and special needs, Sacred Hearts Parish is called to be a caring community which continues the care and concern of Christ’s healing presence among us. This ministry can never be limited, but must be seen in the broad context of the sacrament of human concern in ministries of Christian service.
The Pastoral Care Ministry provides Christian caring and service to all parishioners in need, especially the handicapped, homebound, elderly, bereaved and lonely.
Ministry of the Eucharist: ministers of the Eucharist bring Holy Communion to those confined to their home. If you wish to receive Communion in the home call the Parish Center and ask for Sister Anne Raymond.
Ministry of Prayer: a group of volunteer parishioners who pray for the needs of others. Prayers for special needs may be requested by calling the Parish Center and asking for Sister Anne Raymond.
Ministry of Services: parishioners help the handicapped, the elderly, the homebound with odd jobs, shopping, transportation. If services are needed call the Parish Center.
The Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Anointing of the Sick are given as requested. Call the Parish Center to make arrangements.
