At Sacred Hearts we are here to assist you in the development of your child’s Catholic Faith. Our Religious Education classes are just one of the tools that help foster a relationship with Jesus. You are your child’s first teacher in the Catholic faith! It is important that in conjunction with our Religious Education program that you are praying with your children, taking them to Mass and the Sacraments regularly, and being a good example to them are the most important ways to set them on the path to Meet, Know, Love and Serve Christ.
Our Religious Education classes meet during the traditional school year. We ask that all students be signed up before attending a class. Classes begin in mid-September. To register, please see our online registration form and see our schedule.

Questions about religious education?
Sacramental Preparation
First Reconciliation & First Communion:
Traditionally, First Communion and First Reconciliation occur during a student's second grade year.
Confirmation (updated June 2022):
Our diocese asks us to ensure that students are enrolled in religious education during Gr. K-8, and then to invite our high schoolers to participate in high school formation small groups, ministries, and opportunities during Gr. 9-12. The normative age for Confirmation is fall of a student's 9th grade year, but students can begin Confirmation preparation when they discern that they feel prepared. Monthly preparation sessions are held in the fall (with a parent in attendance) and spring (with a sponsor in attendance) prior to the student's Confirmation year.
Please, see our 1st Reconcilation & Communion or Confirmation page for details.
